I was first introduced to conceptual process in my first semester studying photography at Sheridan College. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy this class at first as it meant shooting ideas and subjects that I wasn’t used to, and going out of my comfort zone. Although, by the end of the semester I found this to be one of my favourite classes. It allowed me to create work that is different, unique, and intriguing looking. Conceptual process is all about coming up with innovative ways to take photos that tell a narrative, eye-catching, and have a meaning behind each element.
